An Encapsulated Form
“An Encapsulated Form.” is a project that explores my interest in shape and form.
It explores the similarities of the natural Lily with that of its natural environment as it matures and grows. I chose the Lily as it symbolizes purity and rebirth.
In this series of images, I visualize the curves, shapes and personality of the form as it matures and develops over a period of time.
The research from this project showed how varying the lighting and temperature conditions changed the speed at which the Lily blossomed and also the direction it grew as it shows its purity and beauty over a given period of time.
